Camp Hydaway offers an overnight experience for campers completing 3rd, 4th or 5th grades.
Making new friends, learning new activities, facing personal challenges and having fun is what we do. Most importantly, each camper will be challenged to learn and grow spiritually during each activity.

TEAMMATE REQUESTS:
Camp Hydaway will try to honor teammate requests to the benefit of every camper.
However, we cannot guarantee that every request will be granted. Please limit your requests to two campers, and we are unable to accommodate teammate requests that require placing children that are separated by two grade levels on the same team.
(For example, a 3rd grader in the same cabin as a 5th grader.)
NEW THIS YEAR!
We will be offering a mail delivery service during FOB time (Flat on Bunk) time in the middle of the day. This is an opportunity for parents to encourage their camper with a handwritten note or card each day, Mon. – Thurs. Please have the cards you want delivered throughout the week ready to drop in a bin upon arrival on Sunday. Since we don’t allow food in the cabins, please do not send snacks in your mail.
Camp Week: Sunday – Thursday
Gates open at 4:00pm on Sunday. Parents are welcome to stay for Opening Ceremonies and “move in.” Your child will have an incredible week. Closing Ceremonies and dinner for the family starts Thursday at 5:30pm.

Camp Hydaway is nestled on the side of Candlers Mountain, just three miles past the entrance to Liberty University.
Driving Directions:
Drive to the top of Candlers Mountain Road.
Turn left onto Camp Hydaway Road.
Drive one mile, then turn left into the Camp Hydaway front gate (stone double-gated entrance).
