Camper Information
For hundreds of kids each year, Camp Hydaway is a great memory – an experience that becomes a significant spiritual milestone in their lives. The staff desires to demonstrate God’s love to each camper by providing an extensive array of fun-filled activities as well as creating special moments to learn about a loving God. Day Camp
Day Camp is a fun summer experience. The morning is filled with group activities, team challenges and an exciting time of worship. After lunch, campers enjoy swimming, fishing, miniature golf, paddleboats, crafts and a special quiet time with their team. The non-competitive atmosphere creates an experience that will bring kids back year
after year.
Cost: $50.00
Fee includes bus transportation to and from camp (see directions/bus schedule), a morning snack, lunch and all program activities.
Camp Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

WHAT TO BRING
- Comfortable play clothes (t-shirts, shorts or jeans)
- Sneakers
- Swim towel, sunscreen, modest bathing suit (one piece for girls)
- All pieces of clothing must have your name clearly marked on them
DO NOT BRING:
- any electronic equipment (video games, radios, etc...)
- music toys
- valuables
- jewelry or large amounts of money
We are not responsible for the loss or damage of any of these items.
Camp Store: During afternoon activity time campers can buy snacks from the snack shop.
Suggested money amount: $1.00 per day
Camp t-shirts: $10.00
Campers must deposit all money into a personal account at the Camp Store. Any remaining account balance will be returned at the end of the camp week.
Please note: We are not responsible for any money not deposited.
Bus Information
Bus transportation is provided from three locations. Please see Directions/Bus Schedule.
Medicine
- Any medicine your camper takes regularly is dispensed as prescribed during lunch by a volunteer nurse or the camp office staff.
- All medicine must be turned into the camper’s counselor upon arrival at camp.
- Medicine must be in the original container.

Overnight Camp
Camp Hydaway provides a rustic experience for kids to grow, develop and have a blast. Making new friends, learning new activities, facing personal challenges and having fun is our focus. Campers will be challenged to grow spiritually during the daily worship times and team time experiences.
Cost: $75.00
Fee includes all meals from breakfast Monday through dinner Thursday, two daily snacks, lodging and all program activities.

Overnight check-in/Thursday night dinner
Camper check-in is Sunday from 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm. Camp will conclude on Thursday at 6:00 pm with Family Night.
Please bring a covered dish for dinner. We will provide hot dogs
and hamburgers.

Directions/ Bus Schedule
Camp Hydaway is nestled in the beautiful foothills of Liberty Mountain, just three miles past the entrance to Liberty University.

Driving Directions:
- Drive to the top of Candler’s Mountain Road.
- Turn left onto Camp Hydaway Road.
- Drive one mile, then turn left onto Lake Front Drive.
Bus Schedule
*Bus Information: Registration fee for day camp includes bus transportation to and from camp each day.
Please be prompt in dropping off and picking up your child at the designated bus stop areas.
Morning drop-off: If you miss the bus, your child may be dropped off at camp after 8:25 am.
Afternoon pick-up: Campers who are not picked up at the bus stop will be returned to Main Street at Thomas Road.
